  When we first saw the venue it looked perfect, and was all the more special as it was where I met my husband. However a catalogue of errors ruined our event. Firstly it is overpriced....but we knew how much we were paying, so accepted that. You would think that they would throw in things like the dancefloor for free when it is down most of the time anyway! They managed to take the money for the event off my bank card twice...causing me to go overdrawn. This cost me at the bank and ruined my perfect record with the bank. Although they offered to refund my bank charges they never did. We ordered the buffet for 60 and 8 platters which we were told would feed 6-8 each...so with 112 people there we expected the buffet to feed 108-124 people....perfect! Well, no actually...we were brought platters about 14 inches round, at a cost of £60 each (we were told they were 'double normal size which cost £30 each' which has a few sausages and chips on, a few things on sticks, a few sarnies and bowls of crisps....probably enough food to feed probably 40 people tops. Many people had no food at all, other managed one or two chips and a cocktail sausage....absolutely pathetic. The cost of this buffet was astronomical. The manager/owner Andy john Harding & Karen Harding disappeared and hid in the office when we asked to speak to her. The man in charge felt guilty and produced a platter on the house...which consisted of things they had left over in the kitchen...who wants sliced tomatoes for a finger buffer? They then cut my wedding cake for me with a total lack of professionalism and instead of sawing the cake pushed the knife though it, causing it to crumble...the cake was fine and should not have crumbled...this was caused by a blunt knife and heavy-handedness! They then 'lost' the decorations from my cake...handmade wired sugar flowers. They searched extensively before informing me someone ate them...not true...who would eat wired flowers? I then caught the staff shoving my cakes back into the cake boxes...without removing the sugar flowers, and without opening the cake boxes correctly, even after I had said don't do it...I would put them away...causing the sugar flowers to get damaged. They were totally unprofessional. The manager did not want to know what went wrong and did not even ask us if everything was ok when they saw us the next day. They even had the nerve to charge us a 'summer premium' for the hire of the rooms.... for heavens sake! The whole outfit is solely about making as much money as possible for minimum possible effort. Do not appoint Andy Harding to do a venue for you until you read this review and find out the type of person you will be dealing with.Would you really want this type of person to plan your venue....the most unprofessional pathetic excuse for a company in Northampton..."   As a landlord I can only say do not appoint Thomas Patrick as your letting agent. This guy is just an absolute charlatan. We had missing rent payments (x6mnths) that took nearly a year to be paid with endless excuses attributing it to accounting problems. One of our favourite excuses was another landlord with the same name as me had received my rent in error but couldn't return the money as he had spent it!!!!!! Over a year on and with promises that the problem had been resolved we're again missing over £2000.00 of rental payments for our property and still getting paltry excuses of new accountants making errors, blah, blah, blah. This is the most unprofessional pathetic excuse for a letting agent in Northampton stay well clear. ...the most unprofessional pathetic excuse for a company in Northampton..."
